The main reason was simple: the old foundation had reached the point where further expansion would have become increasingly difficult, both technically and structurally.

Instead of continuing to build on top of limits, we decided to create a system that is:

more secure

more scalable

easier to maintain

significantly more flexible for future growth

Now that the migration is complete, we can finally talk about what this transition actually brought into the live system.

This was not just a backend replacement. A large number of improvements, new features, usability changes, and structural upgrades have already become part of the new aiosbot environment.

⚠️ What You Should Do First

Before we go into the details, here are the most important steps for current users:

🔐 Reauthorize your bot in the web interface if you have not already done so

⚙️ Review your settings and actions (especially advanced automations)

🛠️ If something does not work as expected, open a support ticket with a short description and a screenshot

This is important because the new system includes:

a redesigned authorization layer

updated action handling

new event logic

revised permission handling

🏗️ A New Foundation for Security, Stability and Growth

The largest change is the new core architecture.

A significant amount of work went into improvements that are not always immediately visible, but are critical for long-term reliability:

fully migrated system core

reworked Twitch and Discord authorization workflows

improved internal infrastructure for better stability and security

cleaner parameter handling across the web interface

improved visibility into action logic and system behavior

🔔 New Notification System

A particularly useful addition:

If an action runs into an issue, users with permission for that bot will now receive a notification automatically.

👉 This makes it much easier to detect and fix problems early.

🎮 Twitch Improvements

The Twitch side received major upgrades for both usability and advanced automation.

⚡ Smarter AutoActions

AutoActions can now differentiate between online and offline states.

Example:

run every 5 minutes while live

run every 30 minutes while offline

👉 More control, less unnecessary execution.

🧩 New Parameters and Expanded Flexibility

The new system introduces a wide range of additional parameters that make actions far more flexible than before.

One example is:

{random.viewer}

This parameter allows actions to dynamically insert a random username from chat.

Possible use cases include:

randomly featuring a viewer in a message

creating lightweight engagement moments

building fun community interactions without custom scripting

And this is only one example.
The overall parameter system has been expanded significantly, giving users many more options to build dynamic, context-aware actions throughout the new aiosbot system.

⭐ Reworked Subscription Events

Subscription handling is now much more granular:

configurable for months 1–12 individually

Example:

Month 1 → simple thank-you

Month 6 → special reward

Month 12 → unique action

🎯 Improved Stream Category Handling

Changing stream category/game is now:

more forgiving

less error-prone

🛡️ Additional Features

Watchtime Calculator

Minimum Bits threshold (anti-spam)

Improved moderation tools

Custom Badword Filter

StreamElements import (via support)

💬 Discord Improvements

Discord saw one of the biggest upgrades and is now a fully integrated automation platform.

🔔 New Discord Events

reaction added

reaction removed

member joined

member left

voice channel join

👉 Enables much more reactive automation.

⚙️ New Discord Actions

reply to message

kick user

ban user

rename channel

create channel

move voice members

send stream-live embeds

send custom embeds

👉 Discord is now an active automation hub.

🚫 Filters

Discord URL Filter

Custom Badword Filter

🔊 Temporary Voice Channels

automatically created

automatically deleted when empty

👉 No more manual cleanup needed.

📊 Discord Dashboard

Now available in the web interface:

member count

channel count

role count

recent commands

join/leave activity

🎫 Ticket System

structured support workflows inside Discord

supports custom embeds

multiple systems planned (future premium limitation)

currently: one system included

🧩 Web Interface Improvements

improved channel selection

announcement channel support

faster queries

🎥 Overlays, Media & Integrations

🎬 Credits Overlay

Perfect for OBS browser sources:

active chatters

VIPs

subscribers

custom text/images

👉 Ideal for end-credit scenes.

📝 Text Overlays

Last Follower

Last Subscriber

Last Cheer

🔊 Sound Overlay + ElevenLabs TTS (Prototype)

early-stage feature

direction: audio-driven interactions

🔧 Smaller but Important Improvements

Discord banlist logging via webhooks

Web interface version display (debugging)

Early bug fixes from tester feedback

🔄 Ongoing Improvements

Not everything is "final" yet.

Still evolving:

Sound Overlay features

UI improvements

premium feature limitations

👉 We prefer transparency over pretending everything is finished.

❤️ Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who:

tested early versions

reported bugs

gave feedback

Your input directly shaped many of the improvements now live.

We know the transition required patience — and we appreciate it.

🚀 What’s Next

This update lays the foundation for everything that comes next.

More features and improvements are already planned and will be rolled out step by step.

Thank you for your continued support.
Your From Twitch and Discord integration to local tools and upcoming API features – here’s a look at what’s new, what’s in the works, and what’s coming soon:

Twitch

Channel Points Integration
Fully implemented and highly flexible. You can now link channel point rewards to virtually any action. Whether it’s triggering in-game events, displaying overlays, or interacting with external devices – the possibilities are endless.

Bits-Based Actions (in development)
We’re working on letting viewers trigger specific actions by donating exact amounts of Bits – for example, 333 Bits could trigger one action, while 334 triggers another.

Followbot Detection Enhancements
A new feature is in the works that will allow you to remove (ban) detected followbots directly through the web interface – streamlining moderation during attacks.

Overlay System (in testing)
A fully customizable overlay system is being tested. It’s not ready for release yet, but development is actively ongoing. You’ll be able to display text, play videos or sounds, show counters, and more – all completely configurable to match your stream's style.

Discord

Early Features in Action
Some features are already live in our official Discord server, like the support ticket system. And just to be clear: everything we build is made for everyone – nothing is exclusive to our server.

Development on Hold (for now)
Since our current focus is on the Twitch bot, Discord development is temporarily paused. But don’t worry – it’ll resume once core Twitch features are finalized.

Planned Features

Role assignment (on join, reaction, or message)

Auto-moderation tools

URL and bad word filters

Custom triggers and event-based actions

Feature Requests Welcome
Got ideas? Whether for Discord or anything else, we’d love to hear them:

aiostool

Secure Local Integration
The aiostool acts as a trusted local bridge between your system and aiosbot. It runs scripts, executes functions, and brings logic to your setup – all without direct cloud dependency.

Mod Support
Developers can build their own mods to expand functionality, whether it’s automation, integration with local software, or reacting to bot events. Mods run in an isolated sandbox environment to ensure security and stability.

CLI (Command-Line Interface)
The CLI is a standalone tool (installed via NPM) designed for managing and testing mods. It lets you run, debug, and package your mods with ease – no GUI needed.

End-to-End Encryption
We’re actively rolling out full E2E encryption between aiostool and the backend, ensuring complete privacy and security for all transmitted data.

Status
The tool is currently in its testing phase and is expected to be publicly released very soon.

Public API

Early Development Phase
We’re building a public API that allows users to connect to their personal bot instance and trigger actions via custom endpoints.

Custom Webhook Actions
Users will be able to define endpoints that perform specific actions. For example, our own setup links the forum with Discord: when a user earns “Gold” status in the forum, a webhook triggers role assignment on Discord – fully automated.

Utility Endpoints
The API will include multipurpose endpoints like counters that can be queried, incremented, or reset – ideal for tracking anything from deaths to donations.

Stream Deck Integration
We’re developing a plugin for the Elgato Stream Deck that connects directly to the API. While counters are one example use case, the plugin is designed to support a wide range of interactions – all triggered at the press of a button.

Thanks for reading – and as always, thanks for your support, ideas, and feedback.
Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on new features and releases!

Account Migration

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on unifying our account systems to improve your experience and simplify access across our platform.

Previously, accounts for the web interface and the forum were managed separately, which often led to confusion and unnecessary duplication. To resolve this and create a smoother, more consistent user experience, we’ve migrated all accounts from the web interface directly into the forum system.

From now on, there will only be one single account system, fully based on the forum. This means:

One account for everything – whether you're accessing features on the website, using tools, or participating in discussions.

Easier account management and a more integrated experience.

As part of this migration, all users are required to reset their password.
