Development Update – Closed Testing Phase & System Finalization

Over the past months, we have completed the largest architectural transition in aiosbot’s history.
The new core system is now feature-complete and entering its final optimization phase.

To ensure maximum stability and usability before the public rollout, we are now looking for voluntary test users who want early access to the new system.

🧪 What Does “Tester” Mean?

Test users will:

  • Receive early access to the new system

  • Help us identify edge cases and optimization potential

  • Test performance and stability in real-world environments

  • Provide structured feedback directly to the development team

To ensure efficient communication, testers will receive:

🎖️ A dedicated Discord role

This includes:

  • Access to a private tester channel

  • Direct communication with the core development team

  • Fast feedback loops for bug reports and feature suggestions

📌 How To Apply

A new forum category will be created for test applications.
You can find it here: https://aiosbot.com/forums/forum/31-closed-testing-application/

To apply, create a post including:

  1. All Twitch moderators of your channel

  2. Number of bots you operate

  3. The name of each bot

  4. Your Discord-Username

  5. A short explanation of why you want to participate

This information is required to properly evaluate system load scenarios and permission structures.

🔐 Important: New Authentication Required

The new system introduces a completely redesigned authentication layer.

⚠️ A full re-authentication of the bot is required.

This will later apply to all users, but for now it is mandatory for test users.

Important:

  • Only the bot owner can authenticate the bot via Twitch.

  • Moderator-level authentication will not be sufficient.

  • This is a strict security measure introduced with the new system core.

🟣 Twitch System Status

The Twitch module is fully migrated to the new architecture.

Currently functional:

  • Channel Points

  • Bits

  • Commands

  • Reactions

  • EventActions

  • Loyalty System (points for watching & chatting)

  • Reward purchasing via loyalty points

  • Reworked Autoban System

  • Many new actions

  • Fully reworked and improved URL-Filter

🔵 Discord Integration – Status

The Discord module is operational within the new system architecture.

Currently functional:

  • Role assignment

  • Automated message handling

  • Command-based interactions

  • Event-based actions

  • Cross-system action compatibility

The Discord Support Ticket System remains on the previous system core and is not part of this testing phase.

Focus is currently on stabilizing the unified action architecture between Twitch and Discord.

🟢 Web Interface Redesign

The entire web interface has been rebuilt to:

  • Simplify parameter handling

  • Improve visibility of action logic

  • Provide clearer structure

  • Improve usability for complex action chains

New global feature:

✔️ “Only Execute If”

Every action can now define conditional execution rules.

This allows actions to only run if specific conditions are fulfilled, enabling significantly more precise automation chains.

🟡 Public API Status

The API system is nearly complete.

  • Core functionality is implemented

  • Structural foundation is finalized

  • Stream Deck support remains planned

  • Utility endpoints are currently not part of the system

🟢 aiostool

aiostool has been fully adapted to the new backend system and remains the secure local execution bridge.

It continues to operate within its sandbox architecture and is fully compatible with the redesigned core.

🚀 Why This Testing Phase Matters

This is not a minor update.
This is the foundation for the next generation of aiosbot.

Your participation helps us:

  • Validate architecture decisions

  • Stress-test the new authentication layer

  • Improve UX before public rollout

  • Ensure long-term stability

🤝 Active Support & Direct Development Influence

During the testing phase, we will actively assist you with the setup and migration to the new system.

Test users will not be left alone. We provide direct support during configuration, authentication and structural adjustments where needed.

At the same time, every tester can submit improvement suggestions at any time.
Your feedback will directly influence further development decisions.

This is not just a test phase. It is an opportunity to actively shape the future direction of aiosbot.
